The People Project

THE PEOPLE PROJECT was founded by a team of passionate, devoted individuals who wanted to share their vision of the world with other like-minded people. This is a project driven by the interests and passions of people from all around the world, with whom we are in the process of building online COMMUNITIES, and within which we have begun to engage in meaningful discussion, with a view to making the world a better place for EVERYONE.

As community-builders, we recognize that every person on this planet is GIFTED and TALENTED and AWESOME in his or her own right, and that he or she, regardless of race, language, gender, creed, religion, or sexual orientation, has something invaluable to contribute to the world. Our mission is to EMPOWER individuals to find their many voices within one or several interest, lifestyle, ethics, identity, or professional communities which we have crafted with the continued support of people around the world.

 We will build safe spaces where people can gather.

We will protect those safe spaces, so that you will know that you have nothing to fear.

We will break down barriers, knowing that individuals are excluded at great expense to the world.

We will find solutions to help deal with the challenges which face us every day, and we will invite others to the table to help design these solutions with us, knowing that we will only find these solutions together.

We will challenge assumptions everyday.

We will take nothing for granted.

We will honor you and acknowledge your strengths and your weaknesses, and we will invite you to take your paintbrush and sit beside us in front of the canvas, where you will apply paint in thick, lavish strokes or tiny precise ones, depending on who you are and what you believe in.

We will create wealth absolutely and indefinitely for all who share this planet, and for the benefit of those who believe in us and who contribute to making this vision a reality, acknowledging that they are our partners on this journey, that they have an invaluable contribution to make to the world, that they are much more than the sum of their parts, or the sum total of their bank accounts.

We will not deny you a seat at the table or a voice in the discussion because we know that your voice is important and integral to what we are trying to accomplish together.

We will believe in you.

We will empower you as you have empowered us.

Together, we will climb the cold jagged rock face, and the sun will alight upon us and warm us, and we will look down upon the valley, knowing that the world is better now than it was before we started our journey, before we crossed the gorge, the yawning chasm, the treacherous cliff, when everyone said it couldn’t be done.
