Samples of work

Animating History is an innovative workshop program for youth that connects media literacy and storytelling with building a sense of community through the creative exploration of local history. Students work with a professional animator, learn “hands on” all parts of the animation process, and create a one-minute historical animated film.

BC Stories empowers youth to conceive, plan, shoot, edit, and screen short animated films that speak about their lives and their community.

School Program
The School Program film screenings allow educators to introduce students to international cinema and address challenging subjects. To facilitate this learning experience, Reel 2 Real features question-and-answer sessions following select films with special guest speakers from around the world.  We also provide pre- and post-screening activities in the classroom. All films will be shown in their original language with English subtitles. Where indicated, subtitles will be read aloud by an experienced reader.
